About Us

Hi! I'm Noreen Midgley, wife of 1, mother of 4, home-renovator, former educator, writer wannabe, and now creator and owner of Refunction Junktion. Four years ago, after reading about 2 women with a similar business, I was so inspired that I decided it was time for me to start that "someday" business I'd been waiting for. So now I have the most fun job ever -- I'm a junker. Junkers take castoff or seemingly worthless items and transform them into treasures.
Throughout this website you'll see that I use the words "we" or "us" a lot. The others are all the people in my past, present, and future who've come beside me in one way or another. I may work alone, but I am not alone!

Yep, it's true! I'm a girl who LOVES my tools. The sander's my fav, but couldn't live without my air nailer, sawzall, and cut-off wheel!

Located in a business suite of a Hudsonville storage complex, I'm able to get messy, loud, and creative. But even though it is warehoue space, it's also newly built and nice, so I'm able to proudly host the public when needed. The only space I need now is...more.

We do sell our products at our occasional sales events and by contacting us directly after viewing on our website.

We do give others the opportunity to try their hand at junking through scheduled classes and arranged private parties.

We do educate people about junking through speaking engagements and published materials.
